What the VICIdial Whiteboard Report Shows
The Whiteboard report turns live call data into big graphs that refresh on a timer. Here are the report types it can put on a wallboard.
Most VICIdial reports are tables you read at a desk. The Real-Time Whiteboard report is different: it draws your data as a large graph with the supporting statistics printed alongside, then refreshes the whole thing on a set interval. It is built for the screen on the wall, not the screen on your desk.
That makes it the natural choice for overhead projection. You pick what to show, the graph fills the display, and it keeps redrawing itself so the floor always sees current numbers without anyone touching a keyboard. It is one of several views covered in our guide to VICIdial reports, and it sits next to the live Real-time report you probably already watch.
How it puts data on the wall
You choose a Report Type, set any filters it needs, and the page renders one big graph plus its numbers. When you select a report, the options that matter to it light up in red — campaigns, status flags, and the rest — so you only fill in what that report actually uses. After that the report compiles itself again at the refresh interval you set, so the picture stays current on its own.

The Report Type dropdown decides everything the graph draws. The choices fall into a few families.
- Disposition Totals — a breakdown of Disposition totals across the calls that were made, so you see how outcomes are distributed.
- Agent Performance Totals — total calls and sales for each Agent within a date-time range.
- Agent Performance Rates — conversion rates per agent over that range instead of raw counts.
- Team Performance Totals — the same totals rolled up by team, which in VICIdial means a User group.
- Team Performance Rates — conversion rates per team over the range.
- Floor Performance Totals (ticker) — a cumulative total of sales drawn as a ticker-style line graph, with an option to draw a target gross-sales line.
- Floor Performance Rates (ticker) — time-elapsed conversion as a ticker line graph, with an option to draw a target conversion-rate line.
- Ingroup Performance Total — total calls and sales for the inbound queues you select within a date-time range.
The performance reports separate totals from rates on purpose. Totals answer "how much" — calls placed, sales booked. Rates answer "how well" — the Conversion rate you get out of that volume. A high-volume agent and a high-rate agent are not always the same person, and the Whiteboard lets you put either story on the wall.
Picking the right one
If you run outbound, the per-Agent and per-team views drive friendly competition. If you run inbound, Ingroup Performance shows which queues are carrying the load. For a single, simple sales number that climbs through the day, the Floor Performance tickers are the cleanest — they are covered in detail in the ticker breakdown. When you are ready to mount one on a screen, the wallboard setup walkthrough covers the steps end to end.
A wallboard only earns its place if the data behind it is fast and trustworthy. VICIfast gives you a dedicated, secure VICIdial server in under 40 seconds so your real-time reports reflect a box that is actually yours. See VICIfast pricing to get started.
