Agent
A user who places or receives calls in VICIdial. Distinct from "user" (admin/manager).
In VICIdial, an agent is a user with user_level=1 who logs in to the agent screen (/agc/vicidial.php) to handle calls. Agents are the people on the dialer; users with higher user_level are managers, supervisors, admins.
Agents:
- Belong to one or more user groups (controls what campaigns they can join)
- Have a session_id while logged in (tracked in
vicidial_live_agents) - Receive auto-dialed calls if their campaign uses RATIO dial method
- Can manually dial if the campaign is set to MANUAL
VICIdial does not license per agent — pricing on VICIfast is per-server, agent count is a sizing suggestion.
