Free predictive dialer tools

Six calculators and lookups for people who run outbound floors on VICIdial - sizing a server, pricing a dialer, staying under the FCC drop-rate cap, and getting the call window right. Free, no signup, no email wall. Bookmark them.

Which tool answers which question

“What will a dialer actually cost me?”

Per-seat platforms bill every agent every month, so the cost of a floor scales with headcount. VICIdial licenses nothing per seat, so a self-hosted or managed server is a flat cost no matter how many agents log in. The dialer cost calculator puts both models side by side at your team size, which is the only honest way to compare them - the two pricing shapes cross over at a team size that surprises most people.

“How big a server do I need?”

Concurrent agents, not total agents, decide the spec: VICIdial holds an Asterisk channel open for every live call and every agent session. The agent capacity calculator turns a hardware spec into a realistic simultaneous-agent number, so you size for the floor you actually run rather than the one on the invoice.

“Am I compliant?”

Predictive dialing in the US is capped: the FCC holds abandoned calls to 3% per campaign on a 30-day rolling window. The abandonment rate calculator gives you the exact rate and the headroom left before you have to dial down the ratio. The DNC pre-call checker explains how the federal and state do-not-call registries fit together and what a compliant scrub looks like before a list goes near a campaign - it is a walkthrough, not a database lookup, and it says so.

“When can I legally call this number?”

Calling windows are set by the lead’s local time, not yours, and an area code is usually the only clue a raw list gives you. The area code lookup maps a US area code to its state, region and dominant city for list segmentation, and time zone by area code gives you the zone itself - which is what you feed into VICIdial’s Local Call Time setting so campaigns stop dialing people at breakfast.
