What is VICIdial hosting?
VICIdial hosting is a server that runs VICIdial, the free, open-source call center software built on Asterisk, kept online by a provider so your team only has to dial. Managed VICIdial hosting goes one step further: the provider also installs, secures, patches and watches the server.
VICIfast is managed VICIdial hosting. Each customer gets their own server, a VPS on shared cores or a server with dedicated cores, not a seat on someone else's dialer. It runs stock VICIdial: the same admin pages, the same agent screen, and the same campaigns, lists and reports your managers already know. More than 200 servers have been provisioned on VICIfast.
How much does VICIdial hosting cost?
VICIfast's VICIdial hosting costs from $49 a month per server on shared cores and from $249 a month on dedicated cores, and the bill does not change when you add agents. Every plan is listed below and on pricing, so you never need a sales call to see a number.

Read the table with two things in mind. First, "from" is the plan's cheapest region: the same plan costs more in some locations, and the order screen shows the exact price for the region you pick before you pay. Second, the agent counts are suggestions for a typical mix of inbound, manual and outbound calling, not limits. A predictive floor dialing three lines per agent carries about three live calls per agent, so it needs more cores than the plan name suggests - 50 predictive agents need Ultimate, not Pro.
Shared-core plans run from 2 to 16 cores. Dedicated plans have 4, 8, 16, 32 or 48 cores that no neighbour can borrow. BYOI means we install and manage VICIdial on a clean Ubuntu 22.04 server you already own, and you keep paying your own provider for the machine.
What is included, and what costs extra?
Every hosted plan includes the server and the work of running it; daily backups, call minutes and a few larger features cost extra or depend on the plan.

Daily backups are the add-on most teams should buy. Calls go through your own SIP carrier or VICIfast Voice, and your carrier bills you for the minutes directly. Support is a person: chat from the dashboard, a phone answered without a menu, and no bot. The servers are monitored around the clock, but standard plans do not include round-the-clock human support.
Hosted, self-hosted or BYOI: which should you pick?
Hosted suits most call centers, self-hosting suits a team that already employs an Asterisk administrator, and BYOI sits between the two.

How do you choose the right plan?
Choose a plan by the live calls at your busiest minute, not by headcount.
- Count the agents logged in at the same time at peak, not everyone on payroll.
- Note how they dial: inbound, manual, or predictive at a number of lines per agent.
- Enter both in the agent capacity calculator. It names the smallest plan that keeps your busiest minute under 60% CPU on shared cores, or 70% on dedicated cores.

- From about 100 agents or 500 concurrent calls, consider a VICIdial cluster instead of one bigger server.
If you guess wrong, one-click resize moves the same server to a bigger plan with a few minutes of downtime. Upgrades take effect straight away and are pro-rated.
Where are VICIfast's VICIdial servers?
VICIfast hosts VICIdial in six regions: Ashburn and Hillsboro in the US, Nuremberg and Falkenstein in Germany, Helsinki in Finland, and Singapore. You pick the region at checkout. Choose the one closest to your agents and your SIP carrier, because every call's audio travels between them. Prices differ by region because the same hardware costs a different amount in each location.
How does the free trial work?
The free trial gives you 7 days on the Launch plan: a real VICIdial server, not a shared demo. A card or PayPal has to be on file, nothing is charged during the trial, and it becomes a paid plan on day 7 unless you cancel. Paid plans can be paid by card, PayPal or USDT.
Where VICIfast is not the right fit
- You need hardware in your own building, or rules that require physical custody of the server.
- You need a person on call all night on a small plan. That comes with an enterprise contract, not a standard plan.
- You run 11 to 15 agents on the tightest possible budget. At least one host publishes a lower monthly price in that band; our providers comparison lists them, dated and sourced.
- You want a dialer other than VICIdial.
