Help / Getting started

Ordering your server (plans, regions, the 40-second build)

From plan grid to a live dialer in about a minute: pick a plan, choose a region and a name, check out by card, PayPal, wallet or USDT, and watch the 40-second build finish. Every click and every status, explained.

Ordering a VICIfast server takes about two minutes of clicking, and the dialer itself builds in about 40 seconds once your payment lands. This walkthrough covers the whole path — picking a plan, choosing a region and a name, paying, and watching the build finish — with what every status along the way actually means.

Step 1 — Pick a plan

  1. Open vicifast.com/pricing. You see three cards: VPS hosting, Dedicated hosting, and Your server (that last one is BYOI — we install on hardware you already own). This guide follows the VPS path; dedicated works the same way.
  2. Click See VPS plans.
  3. Flip the Monthly / Annual switch at the top if you want yearly billing — every card reprices itself, and Annual shows the savings on each card.
  4. Compare the cards. Each one shows the agent count it suits, the resources behind it, and the monthly price. Open the Price varies by region line on a card if you want the per-region numbers before committing.
  5. Click Get started on your plan. On the Launch plan the button reads Start free trial instead — that plan starts with a 7-day trial.

Not signed in yet? You are sent to the login page first and land right back on the configure screen afterwards — your plan choice is remembered.

Step 2 — Region and domain

You are now on the configure screen, step 1 of 2 (Region & domain). Two things to do here:

  1. Under Pick a region, click a region card. Each card shows the city, the exact resources you get there, and the monthly price for that region — prices differ per region, and what you see is what you pay. Cards marked In stock can be built right now; Out of stock cards are greyed out and can’t be picked. Choose the region closest to your agents and customers for the cleanest call audio.
  2. Under Domain, type a Subdomain — this becomes your dialer’s address, like yourcompany.vicifast.com. Lowercase letters and numbers only, 3–40 characters. The green check means the name is yours; a red X comes with the reason (already taken, reserved by the platform, or invalid characters).
  3. Click Next: Billing & add-ons in the bar at the bottom. The bar always shows your running total.

On some plans the Domain section offers a Your own domain option instead — point one CNAME at us and your dialer lives on your brand (dialer.yourcompany.com), certificate included. The on-screen verifier walks you through it. If you just want to get going, the free subdomain is instant.

Step 3 — Billing cycle, quantity, add-ons

  1. Under Billing cycle, pick Monthly or Annual. Annual bills the whole year up front — plan and add-ons — and shows a Save badge with the exact amount.
  2. Under Quantity, use − and + if you want more than one identical server (up to 20). They get numbered addresses automatically: name-1, name-2, and so on. Trial plans and own-domain orders are one server per order, so the stepper stays locked there.
  3. Under Add-ons (optional), tick anything you want — each card shows its monthly price, and the (i) icon explains what it does. You can add or remove add-ons later, so don’t agonize here.
  4. Click Add to cart.

Step 4 — Cart and payment

The cart lists each server as its own card with its address, add-ons, and line total. Remove a line with the trash icon, or click Add another server to configure a different plan — everything checks out together.

  1. Have a code? Type it under Promo code and click Apply. The total updates before you pay. Codes work on card payments only.
  2. Under Payment method, pick how you want to pay:
  • Credit / debit card — via Stripe, instant, and renewals bill automatically. The default for most buyers.
  • Wallet — pays from your VICIfast balance if it covers the order. Renewals debit the wallet too.
  • USDT (TRC-20) — you send crypto to a one-time address; the server builds as soon as the transfer confirms on-chain.
  • PayPal (one-time) — pays this order once. Not recurring, so renewals will need wallet balance.
  • PayPal (recurring) — available on single-server orders; PayPal tops up your wallet at each renewal.
  1. On a non-card method, fill in the Billing address card (country + postal code) when it appears — it’s needed for the tax on your invoice.
  2. Click Continue to payment — or Start free trial — $0 today on a trial order. Card checkouts open right on the page; PayPal sends you to PayPal to approve and brings you back; USDT shows you the exact amount and address.

Trial orders need a method that can bill later — card or PayPal recurring — so the other options stay greyed out. The green banner tells you the exact date your card is first charged, and you can cancel from the dashboard any time before that.

Step 5 — The 40-second build

The moment payment completes you land on your new server’s page, and the build starts immediately. A progress card called Setting up your server takes over the top of the page:

  • A live countdown — Step 4 of 13 · 0:22 remaining · usually done in 40 seconds. If a build runs long, the timer honestly flips to counting up instead of pretending.
  • The step happening right now, in plain words — Configuring hostname, Installing VICIdial, Issuing SSL certificate, Securing access, and so on — with a percentage.
  • A row of dots, one per build step, ticking green as each finishes.

When the last dot ticks, the page reloads itself, the status pill flips to Active, and your server is live. You also get an email ("yourcompany.vicifast.com is ready") with your admin link and username — your admin password is shown on the server page itself, never in email. From here, the next read is Uploading leads to your dialer.

What each status means

  • Pending payment — the order exists but the first payment hasn’t completed (for example a bank still confirming 3-D Secure, or a USDT transfer waiting on-chain). Nothing is built yet. If payment never completes, the order cancels itself after about 12 hours and you are not charged.
  • Provisioning — payment is confirmed; we’re allocating your cloud server. Usually 10–15 seconds.
  • Installing — the 40-second build is running on your box: database, VICIdial, SSL certificate, firewall lockdown, background jobs.
  • Active — live. Sign in, upload leads, dial.
  • Failed — a build step hit an error. Our team is notified automatically; use the Report button on the progress card to attach the log and ping support in one click.

Good to know

  • The same plan costs different amounts in different regions — the price on the region card is the real one, and the plan grid’s Price varies by region line shows all of them before you commit.
  • The 40 seconds is the install itself. Add cloud allocation and page loads and the realistic click-to-Active time is about a minute.
  • The Launch trial is 7 days, once per account, one server, no add-ons during the trial. If you spot "14-day" in an older plan blurb, 7 days is the real number — the cart always shows the exact first-charge date before you pay.
  • Trial plans must be ordered solo — empty the cart of other servers first, or start the trial on its own.
  • Paying with PayPal one-time or USDT? Those don’t renew by themselves. Top up your wallet before the renewal date or the server goes past due.
  • Buying several servers at once? One checkout builds them all — you’ll watch each one tick through the same 13 steps on its own page.
  • Checkout sessions expire after about 24 hours of inactivity. If you see "Your checkout session expired," your cart is still saved — just start the payment again.
