One dedicated server per customer, no shared tenancy
Every VICIfast account runs on its own dedicated VPS with full root, predictable resources, and complete isolation from other dialers.
Every VICIfast account runs on its own dedicated server. There is no shared pool, no overcommitted host, and no other customer's dialer competing for your CPU.
What single tenant actually means
When you sign up, we provision a private VPS that belongs to you alone. This is a Single tenant design: one VICIdial install, one customer, one box. Nothing about your install is shared with anyone else's account.
That matters for a dialer because predictive pacing is sensitive to timing. If a neighbor's traffic spikes on a shared host, your call ratios drift and agents sit idle or get dropped calls. On a dedicated box, the CPU, RAM, and disk are yours. Your Asterisk process is the only heavy workload on the machine.
Full root, your rules
You get full root access to the server. You can read logs, inspect the dialplan, tune kernel settings, or pull your own backups. Because it is your box, your call data and Call recording files live on disk that no other tenant can touch.
- Predictable resources — the CPU and RAM you pay for are always available, not split across strangers.
- Clean isolation — a misconfigured campaign on someone else's account can never affect yours.
- Direct access — your carrier traffic and SIP registration reach a single, known IP.
That single known IP also simplifies your relationship with your carrier. Most providers expect IP authentication against a fixed address, and a dedicated box gives you exactly that. You hand them one IP, they whitelist it, and your SIP trunk stays stable because the address never shifts under you the way it can on a shared platform.
No noisy neighbors
On a shared dialer host, a single account running an aggressive campaign can saturate the host's CPU or network. Your agents feel it as choppy audio, slow screen loads, or dropped calls — and you have no way to fix a problem you cannot see. With a dedicated VPS, the only workload that can slow you down is your own. That makes capacity planning honest: if you need more headroom, you add it, rather than guessing how much of a shared machine you actually get.
Isolation also keeps your data clean. Lead lists, dispositions, and recordings never sit on a disk that another tenant could reach if a misconfiguration ever slipped through. The blast radius of any single mistake stops at your own box.
How a box gets built
When payment clears, our deploy worker reserves a fresh machine and installs Ubuntu 22.04 plus a hardened VICIdial. The whole Provisioning run finishes in under 40 seconds, and you receive a working dialer on a private subdomain. There is no setup queue to wait in and no overnight delay.

D --> E[Issue TLS cert]
E --> F[Dialer live on your subdomain]Because each server is built from the same recipe but lives on its own hardware, you get a consistent dialer without the trade-offs of a shared platform. If you later need more cores or RAM, the box resizes in place — you keep your data and your subdomain.
Where VICIfast fits
A dedicated server is the foundation of everything else we add on top of stock VICIdial — see what VICIfast adds to VICIdial for the full picture. If you want full isolation without managing hardware yourself, see our pricing and pick a plan that matches your agent count.
