Single tenant

Single tenant means each customer gets their own dedicated server, so your dialer, data, and recordings never share a machine with anyone else.

Single tenant means one customer per server. Your VICIdial install, your database, your leads, and your recordings all live on a machine that nobody else shares. There is no shared pool of resources and no neighbor whose traffic spike could slow you down.

The opposite model is multi-tenant, where many customers run on one big shared system separated only by software. Multi-tenant can be cheaper, but a heavy dialing day for one tenant can affect everyone, and your data sits in the same database as strangers. For a call center handling phone numbers and call recordings, that mixing is a real concern.

Why VICIfast runs single tenant

Every VICIfast box is a dedicated VPS you reach on your own Branded subdomain. Because the machine is yours alone, your Call recording files stay on your disk, your tuning choices do not affect anyone else, and you can resize or reset the server without coordinating with other tenants. It also keeps the security story simple: no clusters, no resellers, no shared logins.

Single tenant is built into both Managed hosting and BYOI (bring your own infrastructure). The only difference between them is who owns the hardware; either way the box is yours. The setup is automated through Provisioning, so a fresh dedicated server comes up in under 40 seconds rather than waiting on a manual install.
