How to read the Lists Campaign Statuses Report

The Lists Campaign Statuses Report tells you, list by list, where the leads in a Campaign currently sit. If you run several lists under one campaign and want to know which one is dragging down your numbers, this is the report that splits the totals apart instead of lumping every lead together.

The three sections

The report provides various list-specific information across three blocks:

  • LIST ID SUMMARY — the total number of leads per Lead list, so you can see how the campaign's data is distributed.
  • STATUS FLAG SUMMARY — a breakdown, by status flag, for the specified leads. This is the count of leads sitting in each Called status.
  • PER LIST DETAIL STATS — the status flag summary plus the status totals for each individual list, so you get the breakdown repeated for every list rather than just campaign-wide.

Each status flag is just a Disposition rolled up to a count. Reading the per-list detail is where the value is: two lists with the same total lead count can have wildly different status mixes, and that mix tells you which data source is converting.

How the report aggregates

  A[Campaign leads] --> B[Group by list id]
  B --> C[List ID summary totals]
  B --> D[Group by status flag]
  D --> E[Status flag summary]
  B --> F[Per list detail stats]
  D --> F

Using it day to day

Scan the LIST ID SUMMARY first to confirm each list has the lead volume you expect — a list showing far fewer leads than you loaded usually means a filter or a List ID Override is sending leads somewhere you didn't intend. Then drop into the per-list detail to compare status mixes. A list heavy on no-answer and light on contacts is either fresh and under-dialed or stale and over-dialed, and the pass it's on tells you which.

You can export the whole thing to a spreadsheet-capable .TXT document by selecting the DOWNLOAD link, which is handy for tracking status drift across days in a spreadsheet of your own.

Use the three sections in order. The LIST ID SUMMARY is your sanity check: it confirms the campaign is actually pulling leads from the lists you expect, and in roughly the volumes you loaded. The STATUS FLAG SUMMARY then collapses the whole campaign into a single status-by-status view, which is good for a quick health read but hides which list is responsible for what. PER LIST DETAIL STATS is where you act — it repeats that status breakdown for each list, so a campaign that looks fine in aggregate can reveal one weak list quietly dragging the average down.

A common pattern: two lists show similar total leads, but one has most of its leads stuck in no-answer while the other has a healthy spread of contacts and sales. Same campaign, same settings, very different data. That's the moment to decide whether the weak list needs a different call-time window, a fresh load, or to be retired entirely. Exporting the .TXT lets you keep a daily snapshot and watch a list slide from contacts toward unworkable over a week.

Status flags are a snapshot of where leads sit right now, not a history of every attempt. To see how many times each list has actually been dialed, use the Called Counts report instead.

This report pairs naturally with the Called Counts List IDs report, which adds the attempt history the status snapshot leaves out. For how it fits with the rest of your reporting, see the reports overview.

Knowing which list under a campaign is actually working keeps your dialing focused on data that converts. If you want a managed VICIdial server that's live in under 40 seconds, see our pricing.
