How to Change the Real-Time Report Display Options

The VICIdial Real-Time Main Report ships with sensible defaults, but the view you want depends on what you are watching. The Choose Report Display Options link at the top of the screen opens a panel where you tune all of it. Here is what each group of options does.

Refresh rate

By default the report refreshes every 40 seconds. You can change that interval from the same panel. A shorter interval gives you a more live feel during a tight pacing situation; a longer one is easier on the eyes when you just want a steady glance at a Campaign.

Inbound: NO, YES, or ONLY

One option controls how inbound calls are counted:

  • NO: no inbound accounting is taken for the numbers in the report.
  • YES: inbound calls for the in-groups allowed on the campaign are included in the report.
  • ONLY: only inbound calls into allowable in-groups for the selected campaigns are shown.

Set it to ONLY and the top stats change to inbound-focused figures like average hold time. This matters when an Ingroup is the thing you are babysitting rather than the outbound dial.

Campaign and user-group selectors

Select Campaigns lets you view a single campaign or, by holding ctrl and clicking, several at once. When you view multiple campaigns, the figures shown are combined totals or averages depending on the stat, so read them with that in mind: a blended drop percentage across two very different campaigns can hide a problem on one of them. Select User Groups works the same way but sorts by user group, and again ctrl lets you pick several. These two filters are how you carve the report down to exactly the slice you own, whether that is one campaign you are babysitting or every campaign a single team touches.

The extra toggles

A few more options round out the panel. Agent Time Stats adds time-clock information per agent. The Dialable Lead Alert shows which campaigns have no leads loaded into the dial Hopper right now, which is a fast way to catch a starved campaign before agents start asking why they are idle. Show Ingroup Drop Row displays the in-group on inbound calls along with the total time spent in queue. And there is an option to see carrier hangup code statistics for calls that ended in the last several minutes and hours, useful when a Trunk starts misbehaving.

Once the panel is set the way you like, the rest of the screen reads as covered in how to read the Real-Time Main Report, and the wider reports guide shows where it sits among the other reports.

Tune it on your own dialer

Every one of these options is yours to set on a VICIfast managed VICIdial server, provisioned in under 40 seconds. See our pricing to get a box of your own.
