How to read the User Group Login Report

The User Group Login Report shows when each agent in a group first and last logged in, plus the campaign, server, phone, and browser they used.

How to read the User Group Login Report

The User Group Login Report answers a plain question: who in this team has actually logged in, when, and from where? It is not a sales report. It is a login record for every user in a selected group, and it is the first screen to open when an account looks unused, a phone keeps misbehaving, or you need to confirm someone is set up at all.

What it lists

Pick a user group and the report shows one line per user with their name, user ID, and group, then a set of login facts: first login date and time, most recent login date and time, campaign, server IP, computer IP, phone extension, browser and version, phone login, server phone, and phone IP. It is a snapshot of how each agent connects, not how they performed. For the performance side you would reach for an Agent performance report instead.

The columns that earn their keep

FIRST LOGIN DATE is the earliest date this user ever logged in to the agent screen, and LAST LOGIN DATE is the most recent. Those two together tell you whether an account is active, brand new, or abandoned. CAMPAIGN is the most recent campaign they logged in to, and SERVER IP is the most recent server. COMPUTER IP and EXTENSION show the machine and phone they last used, which is gold when one desk has trouble and the rest are fine.

BROWSER records the most recent web browser version, which matters because an outdated browser causes odd agent-screen bugs. PHONE LOGIN, SERVER PHONE, and PHONE IP describe the phone side of the last session: the phone login used, the server phone account it ran through, and the phone's IP address at the time. When a Softphone will not register, those three are the first things to check.

Each of these fields stores only the most recent value, not a full history. LAST LOGIN DATE updates every time the agent opens the screen, while FIRST LOGIN DATE is written once and never changes. That split is the whole point of the report: one column anchors when an account started life, the other tracks whether it is still in use. The campaign, server, computer IP, and phone fields all follow the most-recent rule, so they reflect the latest session, not an average of many.

When to reach for it

Use it for housekeeping. A user group full of stale LAST LOGIN DATES means accounts you can probably retire. A run of logins from the same COMPUTER IP or PHONE IP can flag a shared station or a setup mistake. When one agent reports the screen freezing, check their BROWSER against everyone else's. This report does not track Timeclock hours or breaks, so do not use it to police shift time; it only knows about agent-screen logins.
