How to query leads in bulk by entry date and modify date
The Advanced Lead Management Tools page lets you filter leads by entry date, modify date, vendor code, source ID, owner, or country code before acting on the matched set in bulk.
The Basic Lead Management Tools page lets you filter a Lead list by status and called count. Those two filters cover a lot of ground, but sometimes you need to narrow a query further — for example, pulling every lead loaded from a specific vendor last Tuesday, or every record touched by a particular agent in a given month. That level of control lives in the Advanced Lead Management Tools page, which adds country code, Vendor lead code, Lead source, Lead owner, entry date, modify date, and security phrase as additional filter dimensions.
What the date filters do
Entry date is the timestamp recorded when a lead was first inserted into the system. Modify date is updated any time a lead record changes — status updates, agent notes, field edits. Filtering by entry date lets you target a specific import batch without needing to remember its list ID. Filtering by modify date lets you find records that were last touched in a given window, which is useful for quality audits or re-queuing stale contacts. Both filters accept a single day or a range. You can combine them with any of the other available dimensions to build a precise query before committing to a bulk action.

- Deactivate the source list. The Advanced Lead Management Tools page cannot modify leads in a list that is currently active in a campaign's rotation unless your system administrator has enabled the override option in System Settings.
- Navigate to Advanced Lead Management Tools in the admin panel.
- Select the source list from the list picker.
- Set an entry date or modify date. You can enter a single date to match one day, or two dates to define a range. Either field can be left blank if you do not want to filter on it.
- Add any additional filters you need: vendor lead code, source ID, owner, country code, lead status, or called count. All filters are combined with AND logic — a lead must match every condition you specify.
- Choose the action — move the matched leads to another list, update their status, or delete them.
- Submit the form. After it runs, confirm the affected count matches your expectation before reactivating the list.
Practical uses for date-based filtering
Date filters are most useful when a batch import went wrong and you need to pull back exactly those records, or when you want to separate a recent upload from an older set that shares the same list. The modify date filter pairs well with Lead recycling workflows: if you want to re-queue leads that have not been touched in 30 days, you can filter by modify date older than your threshold, then update their Disposition to a fresh status so the hopper picks them up again.
One thing to keep in mind: the entry date is set at import time and is never overwritten by subsequent edits. The modify date, by contrast, changes every time the record is touched — including by automated dialers logging attempts. If you are trying to isolate a specific import batch, use entry date. If you are looking for records that have had recent human or system activity, use modify date.
