Agent dispositions
BUSYBusy (custom code)
Not a VICIdial default. The shipped busy codes are B (agent-marked) and AB (carrier-signalled).
If BUSY shows up on your system, it did not come from VICIdial. The stock status list has no code called BUSY — it has B, which an agent picks, and AB, which comes from the carrier’s busy signal. BUSY is something a site added, a script wrote, or a lead import carried in from another dialer.
When VICIdial sets it
It does not. A custom status only exists once somebody creates it in the system statuses list or in a campaign’s own statuses, or once leads land with that string already in their status field.
What to do
- Check whether the code actually exists as a status. A status string on a lead with no matching status row shows up in reports as an unlabelled column.
- If you keep it, set its flags on purpose. A custom code with every flag off counts as nothing in every report.
- The tidier option is to normalise: point new work at B and AB, and leave BUSY only on the historical leads that already carry it.

The real codes to use instead: B for an agent-heard busy signal and AB for the carrier’s.
