NVAINSLead inserted by call logging
The default status for a lead VICIdial creates when it logs a call placed outside the agent screen.
VICIdial can log calls that never touched an agent screen — for example calls that pass through a call menu — and create a lead for them when no matching record exists. NVAINS is the status those freshly inserted leads carry.
When VICIdial sets it
Automatically, from the phone entry’s call-logging settings, which name the list the new lead lands in and the status it gets. NVAINS is only the shipped default for that setting: a site can point it at any status it likes, so on some systems these leads arrive as something else entirely.
What to do
- Look at the list these leads land in before you do anything else — by default it is a holding list, not a campaign list.
- Decide whether they are reference data or work. If you want them dialed, move them to a real list and add their status to the campaign dial statuses.
- If NVAINS leads are piling up unexpectedly, check which call menu is doing the logging — something is routing calls you did not account for.
