ADCDisconnected number (carrier)
The carrier reported that the number is disconnected.
ADC is a disconnect reported by the carrier itself. The number is not in service, and no agent had to listen to an intercept recording to find out.
When VICIdial sets it
Automatically, from the carrier’s response. It is never an agent choice.
What to do
- Tick the unworkable flag on this status and keep it out of the dial statuses. Redialing a disconnected number is pure waste.
- Track ADC as a percentage of each list. It is the cleanest single measure of how old your data is.
- Take a high ADC rate back to your list source. That conversation goes better with a number attached.
- Suppress the numbers rather than only closing the leads, or the same dead records come back with the next list reset.

DC is the agent-marked version. Do not confuse ADC with ADCT: congestion means the call could not get through right now, not that the number is dead.
