SVYEXTSurvey sent to extension
A survey campaign passed the customer to an extension after they responded — survey campaigns only.
Survey campaigns play a recorded message and act on what the customer presses. SVYEXT records the outcome where the response sent them to an extension rather than to an agent, a voicemail or a call menu.
When VICIdial sets it
Automatically, and only on survey campaigns. The campaign’s survey method decides which of the survey statuses a response produces — extension, voicemail, hangup, recording or call menu.
What to do
- Confirm the extension actually answers. A survey that routes opt-ins into a dead extension loses exactly the people who said yes.
- Treat these as your opt-in count for the campaign and report on them separately from ordinary dispositions.
- Check the digit map matches the recording. Mismatches send interested people to the wrong place.
- Staff the extension for the hours the campaign runs. Survey opt-ins arrive in bursts, right after each block of dialing.
