Survey and broadcast
PMPlayed message
A broadcast or survey campaign finished playing its message to the customer.
PM is the outcome of a campaign whose job is to say something rather than to start a conversation. The call was answered, the message played, and that was the whole interaction.
When VICIdial sets it
Automatically, on outbound broadcast and survey campaigns. No agent is involved at any point.
What to do
- Check the rules for broadcast calling wherever you dial before you run one. They are usually stricter than for live agent calls.
- Identify yourself at the start of the message. A recording with no introduction is the fastest route to a complaint.
- Track PM separately from agent outcomes — nobody was contacted in the sales sense.
- Check the message plays in full before scaling the campaign up. A broadcast that cuts off halfway is worse than none, because the customer still sees the missed call.
