SVYVMSurvey sent to voicemail
A survey campaign sent the customer to voicemail — survey campaigns only.
SVYVM records a survey call that ended in a voicemail box: the customer’s response, or the campaign’s survey method, routed them there instead of to an extension or an agent.
When VICIdial sets it
Automatically, on survey campaigns using the voicemail survey method. No agent is involved at any point, so the only record of what the customer wanted is whatever they left in the box.
What to do
- Empty the box. Survey voicemails are usually the only place the campaign captures anything a customer actually said.
- Make sure the greeting tells people what happens next, since nobody is going to speak to them right now.
- Keep survey statuses out of your ordinary contact-rate reporting; they measure a different thing.
- Confirm the mailbox is not full. A survey pointed at a full voicemail box quietly loses every response it collects.
- Match the voicemail greeting to the survey message, so the customer can tell the two came from the same company.
