System errors
ERIAgent error
An agent closed their browser before dispositioning the lead, so VICIdial closed it out for them.
ERI is the tidy-up status. An agent had leads in progress and their session ended without a disposition being written — browser closed, machine slept, connection dropped — so VICIdial marks those leads rather than leaving them stuck forever.
When VICIdial sets it
Automatically, at the agent’s next login. VICIdial finds the leads still sitting on the queued and in-call statuses for that agent, rewrites them to ERI, and clears the matching hopper entries so the leads are free again.
What to do
- Decide whether ERI leads should be redialed. The code does not tell you whether the customer was actually spoken to — listen to a recording before you decide.
- Track ERI per agent. A single agent producing most of them is a habit; everybody producing them is a network or browser problem.
- Teach agents to log out properly. Every closed browser turns into leads nobody can explain later.
