Dropped calls
AFTHRSAfter-hours drop
The inbound call arrived outside the in-group’s call time and was handled by the after-hours action.
AFTHRS means someone called you when you were closed. The in-group’s call time said the queue was not open, so the after-hours action took the call instead of an agent.
When VICIdial sets it
Automatically, based on the call time attached to the in-group. Holidays and one-off closures are part of that same schedule, so a spike on an odd date usually means a holiday rule fired.
What to do
- Read AFTHRS as demand, not as a problem. It is a free measurement of how many people want you outside your opening hours.
- Check the after-hours action leaves people better off — a message with your hours, or a voicemail, beats a silent hangup.
- Confirm the call time is in the right timezone before you trust the numbers. A schedule an hour out shows up here first.
