What is the VICIdial price in Pakistan?
The software is free, so a Pakistani call center pays only for running it: the server, the minutes your carrier bills and the admin time. VICIfast publishes every server price in US dollars, starting at $49 a month for shared cores and $249 for dedicated cores, and you pay per server, never per seat.
What three floor sizes cost per month, by region:
| Floor | Plan | US | Germany and Finland | Singapore |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| A first team of 5 | Launch | $49 | $49 | $59 |
| 25 agents, mixed calling | Growth | $219 | $219 | $259 |
| 100 agents on 16 shared cores | Ultimate | $749 | $549 | $649 |
A predictive campaign changes the sum: 25 agents at three lines each put about 75 live calls on the server at the busiest minute, and that number, not the headcount, decides the plan. VICIdial for 50 agents shows the same effect at a bigger size. Call minutes come from your own SIP trunk provider, and daily backups cost extra.
Which server region suits a call center in Lahore or Karachi?
Test Singapore and Germany for your agents, and a US region for your carrier: from Pakistan, both Singapore and Germany are far nearer than the US, while a US server sits beside US carriers. VICIfast runs servers in Ashburn and Hillsboro in the US, Nuremberg and Falkenstein in Germany, Helsinki in Finland, and Singapore.
Whichever you pick, one half of every call travels a long way. A server near Pakistan gives agents a short path for the agent screen and the browser phone, and moves the distance onto the datacenter link to your SIP carrier; from Germany that link crosses the Atlantic rather than the Pacific. A US server does the opposite, and each agent's audio crosses half the world on a home connection. Ask your client, too, whether its contract says which country recordings must be stored in.
Which nearby region wins depends on your ISP's routes, so measure it. The ViciBox documentation, published by the VICIdial project, ranks packet loss first, then jitter, then latency, warns that a speed test will not tell you much, and says packet loss above 2-3% starts to cause significant audio problems. Run those checks from two agents' connections to a trial server before the first full shift.
What do agents in Pakistan need to take calls?
A computer with a browser and a headset, or an Android phone. The branded webphone runs the phone inside the agent screen, so nothing is installed on agent PCs. For agents on mobile, VICIfast Phone is free on every server: it signs the agent in as a VICIdial remote agent and rings their Android phone, version 8.0 or newer, for each queue call, with the lead's details, results and callbacks on screen. Signing in to the app also lets that phone through your server's firewall, and the rule follows the phone when its network changes.
Team leads and clients abroad can listen, whisper or barge in through live monitoring, and the monitor extension answers only addresses you allow.
What hours do Pakistani agents work for US leads?
A US campaign is a night shift in Pakistan: while US daylight saving time is in force, East Coast leads can be called from 5 p.m. PKT and the last West Coast leads until 9 a.m. PKT. The federal window is 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the lead's local time, and Pakistan keeps one clock all year, so each shift starts an hour later from 1 November 2026, when US clocks go back, until 14 March 2027.
| Pakistan time (PKT) | US summer | US winter |
|---|---|---|
| First East Coast calls | 5 p.m. | 6 p.m. |
| Every contiguous state open | 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. | 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. |
| Last West Coast calls end | 9 a.m. | 10 a.m. |
The Local Call Time setting on each VICIdial campaign keeps the dialer inside every lead's own window, and the area code time zone lookup shows where a list's numbers are before you load it.
Do US calling rules apply to agents in Pakistan?
Yes. The FTC's own guidance on its Telemarketing Sales Rule says it makes no difference whether calls are made from outside the United States, so long as they reach US consumers. That brings in the TCPA's 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. window and the National Do Not Call Registry, whichever city your agents sit in. Our DNC guide shows how VICIdial loads the federal list and your own opt-outs.
Calls to Pakistani numbers are a separate matter. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) is the telecom regulator there and has issued regulations against spam and unsolicited calls. This page is not legal advice.
How do Pakistani call centers pay for VICIfast?
By card, PayPal or USDT on the TRC20 network, all in US dollars. USDT works for paid plans and for topping up your account wallet. The 7-day free trial is the exception: it needs a card or a PayPal subscription on file, because the plan converts and charges on day 7, and nothing is charged before then.
Where VICIfast is not the right fit
If you need the server inside Pakistan, or want the lowest possible monthly bill and already employ a Linux admin, run VICIdial yourself on a local machine; our providers comparison lists what other hosts charge, dated and sourced. If you already own a clean Ubuntu 22.04 server, BYOI puts VICIdial on it, managed by us, for $29 a month.
Where to start
Start the free trial, choose Singapore or Germany, and have two agents place calls from home before the first full shift. Tell us your agent count and carrier on the contact page if you want a second opinion on the region.
