Dropped calls

SRDROPShared campaign drop to in-group

A drop from a shared outbound campaign routed to an in-group — deliberately left out of most drop stats.

SRDROP belongs to shared outbound campaigns, where dropped calls are handed to an in-group rather than ended. It exists precisely so those calls can be told apart from ordinary drops, and it is excluded from most drop statistics by design.

When VICIdial sets it

Automatically, on the shared-campaign drop path. If you do not run shared campaigns you will never see it.

What to do

  • Know that your drop rate does not include these by default. If your own compliance policy is stricter, count them yourself.
  • Check the receiving in-group has staff. A drop routed to an empty queue is still an abandoned customer.
  • Report on it separately so the exclusion stays visible rather than becoming a blind spot.
  • Confirm which campaigns are shared before you read anything into the number. On a system with no shared campaigns this status should be empty.
  • Watch the receiving in-group’s wait times. A drop that turns into a long hold has not really been rescued.
