Fronter

An agent who qualifies leads then warm-transfers to a closer.

A fronter is an outbound agent role — the first agent on a call. Their job: confirm prospect interest + qualify, then warm-transfer to a closer for the close.

Fronter compensation is usually flat-rate or per-transfer; closer is commission. Together they form the standard 2-tier outbound sales motion.

VICIdial implementation: fronter is a regular agent on an outbound campaign. They press a hot key to initiate transfer to a closer In-Group.
