Genuinely, and we are not hedging here:

  • They are the authors. VICIhost is The VICIdial Group — the original maintainers of VICIdial. Nobody on earth knows the software better, because they wrote it and they steer where it goes next. If something obscure breaks, the people fixing it are the people who built the thing. That is an unmatched depth of expertise, and influence over the roadmap that no third-party host can claim.
  • Enterprise private-cluster scale. Their "Dedicated Contact Center Hosting" runs in private hosted clusters across Tier-3 datacenters with redundant power and backbones. If you need clustered VICIdial at serious scale, run by the source maintainers, that is exactly what they sell.
  • Deep integration and security story. 20+ CRM integrations out of the box (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, Zendesk), IVR, skills-based routing, soundboards, SSAE-16 security, cellphone-number scrubbing, and high-level encryption. A bundled enterprise package, not a build-it-yourself kit.
  • The safest enterprise choice. For a large enterprise that wants the people who maintain VICIdial to run its stack — with procurement, contracts, and sales-led onboarding all part of the deal — VICIhost is the genuinely safest pick. We will say that plainly.

  • Speed. A working VICIdial admin in under 40 seconds, self-serve, card or PayPal or USDT. VICIhost is a sales cycle with a quote; they make no provisioning-speed claim because that is not how they sell. If you want to be live today without talking to anyone, that is us.

A note on pricing

This is the cleanest difference between us, so it is worth being precise. VICIhost does not publish prices — it is a quote-led, sales-driven motion, which is normal for enterprise contact-center hosting. The figures floating around (~$400–500/mo per additional server, ~$1,000 initial setup and training) are commonly cited, not official, and your real number depends entirely on your conversation with their team.

VICIfast publishes the grid. Per server, never per agent, from $49/mo, and your SIP carrier bills you directly so you always see that cost in the open. See /pricing. Neither approach is wrong — quote-led suits enterprise procurement; published suits operators who want to know the number before they pick up the phone.

When to pick VICIhost

  • Your procurement runs on contracts, MSAs, and a sales-led onboarding, and a setup fee is a normal line item.
  • You specifically want the maintainers themselves running your stack — the people who write VICIdial, with direct influence over its roadmap.
  • You need clustered, enterprise-scale VICIdial in private hosted infrastructure with a deep bundled integration and security story.
  • Budget and a sales cycle are fine; you value authority and bundled scale over speed and self-serve.
