Washington state telemarketing law
WA Telephone Consumer Protection Act — strict consent + statutory damages on top of federal.
Washington's Telephone Consumer Protection Act (RCW 80.36.400 et seq.) is one of the more aggressive state-level statutes. Civil penalties up to $1,000 per violation, plus a Treble damages provision.
Key requirements
Calling hours
8am-9pm Pacific time. Same as federal floor.
Recording
Two-party consent (Wash. Rev. Code § 9.73.030). Standard beep + disclosure pattern applies.
