Welcome — your first 10 minutes
What to do as soon as you receive the "your server is ready" email.
You should have received a your server is ready email with a one-click link to the VICIdial admin. Here's what to do next.
1. Log in to VICIdial
Open the admin URL in the email. Username and password are in the same email. Change the password immediately under Users → 6666.
2. Configure your carrier
Go to Admin → Carriers. Add your SIP trunk credentials. Save and run a test call from Real-Time Reports.
3. Set up your first campaign
Create a list, then a campaign. VICIdial's docs cover this in detail at vicidial.org/docs.
4. Lock down access
Your server is exposed on the public internet. We recommend: enable VICIdial's IP allowlist for the agent web UI, set a strong root SSH password (or disable password auth and use keys), and review /etc/fail2ban/jail.local if you need stricter limits.
5. Bookmark the dashboard
Your server dashboard is where you'll restart, rebuild, change plans, or open a ticket. Subscribe to status notifications under Settings → Notifications if you want SMS/email alerts when your server's health changes.
