Lead recycling
Re-marking already-called leads as NEW so the dialer calls them again.
Lead recycling is VICIdial's mechanism for dialing the same lead more than once. Configurable per-disposition + per-status.
Common pattern: a lead dispositioned BUSY gets recycled 4 hours later; NA (no answer) recycles 24 hours later; SALE doesn't recycle.
Configure in Admin → Campaigns → [campaign] → Detail View → Recycle Filter.
TCPA caution
Recycling too aggressively → harassment claims. The FCC's interpretation: more than ~3 calls per number per 24 hours can constitute harassment. Most operators set:
- BUSY: 4 hours
- NA: 24 hours
- DROP: 72 hours
- AM (answering machine): 5-7 days
